Summatime!

Well, its been a while since I last posted, but a lot has been happening.

I officially have an Aunt Bekki now.

I have also been working on being nice to TheScaryPuppy, also known as cousin Finn.

We're making progress.

I've also had a couple other adventures, like the NEBCR reunion, but Mom didn't take any pictures because she managed to break not one, but TWO digital cameras. Bad, bad Mom.... we could have spent that money on toys for ME!

She got a new one though, so we've been going down to Peaks Island to cool off and try out all the different settings.

And she's really excited about some panoramic sweep feature.

Next she's going to work on the video mode so she can show you some videos of me doing our newest thing, something called AGILITY.

Notes

Our neighbor gave me a note the other day. Its really more of an award.

Mom says I should have gotten the "Best Ball Finder" award.

Can you tell we live next door to the high school sports fields?

Every week Wes and I find about this many, and every week Mom returns them.

But this time, she was inspired to write a note of her own.

Say 'hello' to....

Finnegan Huckleberry Anderson

He's being adopted by Uncle Matt and Aunt Bekki.

I haven't met him yet, but he looks like one of those super annoying puppies that I have no patience for. Mom's cousin took his mom in as a foster dog when she was pregnant, sound familiar?

Uncle Matt and Aunt Bekki had a seriously hard time deciding which puppy they wanted, and some seriously strange dog picking logic, but I guess in the end they decided on one.

Mom says not to worry, I won't be meeting him anytime soon since he'll be living in Connecticut.

And that I'm lucky, because she seriously thought she might take one home too....

I am....

ONE!

Today is my birthday and I am one year old!! Can you believe it? Mom can't. She says I still act like a big snuggly, goofball puppy.

So, let me share with you some things about me you might not know.

I am....

....an alarm clock. Permanently set for "too early".

....a toilet clogger. Some balls don't float, when will I remember that?

....a co-pilot. Eyes on the road at all times, you never know when a squirrel is gonna make an appearance.

....a couch potato. During those rare, calm moments when a guy just has to take a rest.

....a four-legged treadmill. What self-respecting dog isn't always willing to exercise their human?

....a digger. Snow, dirt, doesn't matter, I will get the job done.

....a swimmer. 'Water' is my middle name.

....a snowmonster. Snow is just another form of water, you know.

....a smarty-pants. I'm still a BC, even if I don't look like one and can't hear.

....a wrestler. My neighbor Wes is teaching me to box, too.

....an obsessive fetcher. You think you are safe in the shower, but think again! A ball or frisbee might just magically appear in the tub with you! Mu hu ha ha ha!

So what did I do to celebrate my birthday you ask? Well, Mom and I went for an extra long walk at Winslow Park. It was wicked warm (40's) so all the snow was melting and there was MUD!!

Let's just say I wasn't even close to being white by the end of the walk.
